Glossary

*Vampire:   Immortal with superhuman abilities who feed on blood.

*Bearer:    Human who keep the blood of a vampire while he is slumbering.

*Hunter:   Human with the skills to fight against the creatures of night. Usually all hunters are Christian because God is their strength.

*Vampire Hunter:  Human who has inherited the power to fight against vampires.

*Fallen angel:  Angel who left heaven. Whether it was corrupted by darkness or it decide to stay on Earth to fulfill a mission. They are still devoted to the Lord.

*Ancestor:   Demons who escaped from hell more than 4000 years ago. They were five and each one created a Clan. They are the gods and creators of the vampires.

*Pureblood:  The original vampire. He has never been human and had not even a single bit of humanity in their blood. They are the highest rank amongst the creatures of Night. Only a very little of them exist.

 *Elder: Human who has been turn into a vampire by an Ancestor. They are the only ex-human vampire who can have offspring.

*Noble: Descendant of an Elder. A vampire from birth. They have specials powers and are called the aristocracy of the Realm of Night.

*Commoner:  Human who has been turned into a vampire by a Noble and have drunk the Noble’s blood. He has a soul and kept the memories of his human life. Hunter usually fights these kinds of vampires and they are the majority. They cannot turn people into vampires.

*Slave: Human who was bit by a vampire but hasn’t drunk the blood of his creator. Consequently he loses his human soul and follows the will of his creator.

*Dhampire:  Half vampire half human

*Dark Portal:  They are five different portals connected to the Empire of Night. They are the entrance to each Clan’s Realm. They are also known as the Gates, and their gatekeepers are the five Dukes of Darkness.

*Realm of Night: A whole dimension created by an Ancestor where all the dark creatures live. They are five Realms for each Clan, and together they form the Empire of Night.

*Dark Creatures:  Creatures who were freed from hell by an Ancestor. Also known as Creatures of Night.

*Fallen Vampire: Vampire who has been banished from the Empire of Night.

*Gladius Victor Aeterna:   Literally The Sword of Eternal Conquest was the sacred blade Archangel Sariel wielded against the Emperor in the ancient wars. Now as William’s sword it is also known as Solarium.

*The Celestial Demon:  That’s how dark creatures referred to Noche when she used the angel side of her blood.

*Servant: Humans who drink vampire blood and became loyal to a vampire.

*Bloodline:   The blood that runs in a certain group of vampires and connected them with a Pureblood.

*Clan:         Groups of bloodlines that has the same Ancestor.
